Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 July 2026 · Effective immediately for new subscriptions

1. Who we are

AZClarity is operated by Stephen Bennett, a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom. Our registered email is support@azclarity.com. We are ICO-registered under reference ZC173030.

2. What AZClarity does

AZClarity connects to your Microsoft Azure tenant using read-only OAuth permissions, and can scan one or multiple subscriptions within that tenant simultaneously. It scans your subscription to produce a coverage map showing which Azure services are deployed, runs deterministic maturity scoring, checks for common security misconfigurations, and optionally generates AI-assisted observations and QBR narratives.

Read-only by design. AZClarity never writes to, modifies, or deletes any resource in your Azure environment. We request only the minimum permissions required to read resource inventory and cost data.

3. Subscriptions and payment

AZClarity is a paid subscription service billed monthly. Pricing is shown on our landing page. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. If you do not accept a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

4. MSP team accounts

MSP subscribers may invite up to 5 additional users from the same email domain. Invited members access AZClarity under the MSP subscription. If the MSP subscription is cancelled or lapses, all team members lose access simultaneously. The MSP account owner is responsible for ensuring all team members comply with these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You may only use AZClarity to scan Azure subscriptions that you own or have explicit authorisation to scan. You must not:

6. AI features

AZClarity uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate observations, QBR narratives, and recommendations. AI features are limited to 10 calls per user per day. AI output is generated based on your subscription's infrastructure data only — no data from other customers is used to inform your results.

AI observations are informational only. They are not professional advice. You should review any AI-generated recommendation with your team before taking action. AZClarity accepts no liability for decisions made based on AI output.

7. Availability and service levels

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uptime. AZClarity is provided "as is" without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, which may cause brief interruptions.

8. Data and privacy

We collect and process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Azure access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Scan data is stored in EU data centres (Cloudflare D1, Western Europe region). We do not sell your data.

9. Intellectual property

AZClarity and all related software, designs, and content are owned by Stephen Bennett. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You retain ownership of all data that originates from your Azure subscriptions.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AZClarity's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

AZClarity is a read-only visibility tool. We are not liable for any changes made to your Azure environment by you or your team following our recommendations.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from the Account page. On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of AZClarity after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

MSP plan — connecting client tenants

The MSP plan lets you connect Azure tenants belonging to your clients so you can assess them. You may only connect a client tenant where you are authorised to do so and have obtained the client's permission. When you add a client tenant you must accept the on-screen confirmation that you are authorised and accept responsibility for the connection. AZClarity connects using its own read-only identity after your client grants admin consent and assigns the Reader role; AZClarity never obtains write access to a client tenant. You are responsible for maintaining an appropriate agreement with your client, for the lawful basis for the assessment, and for removing a client tenant when your engagement ends. AZClarity is not a party to your agreement with your client and accepts no liability arising from your connection of a client tenant without proper authorisation.

Additional members beyond the five included in the MSP plan are charged at £10 per member per month, added to your subscription and prorated. Member invitations are restricted to your organisation's email domain.
